It's not easy finding new SCORE Girls, and that's with the speed and benefits of such tech marvels as Twitter, websites and emails. In 1990, it was a lot harder. But in some ways, oddly easier. Tawny was discovered in early 1990 in Daytona Beach, Florida. John Fox, Gent magazine's editor-in-chief at the time, and now SCORE CEO, and photographer John Graham had a brainstorm during the annual college students' Spring Break. The two men hired a plane to tow a banner along the beach that read "Big bucks for big boobs" with a local phone number. "I was very shy and apprehensive so I just took John's number and blew it off," Tawny said. "Then I found his number and gave him a call and the rest is history."
Tawny did most of her modeling at Graham's SCORE studio in London, where she was often paired off with many other SCORE Girls like SaRenna and Linsey Dawn. The rest of Tawny's time was occupied with the fast-paced life of a traveling feature dancer on the big-bust club circuit.
"It was pretty easy," Tawny said in 1993. "Once I began featuring at clubs and noticed how the men responded, it gave me more confidence. I've learned to be proud of my body instead of ashamed and now I love to show off. I sort of thrive on the attention I receive."
Tawny was the quiet showgirl. She'd rather stay home and watch TV than run around partying. Before she retired from dancing and modeling and the public eye, she made national newspaper headlines in a goofy way. At the Diamond Dolls club in Clearwater, Florida a customer claimed that he was injured when Tawny gave him a "boobface" in 1996, and he sued the club. Two years later, the case wound up not in court, but on TV's The People's Court. The judge on this show was former New York Mayor Ed Koch. Tawny herself was never personally sued but agreed to appear on the show as a co-defendant. Judge Koch instructed the female court officer to take Tawny into his chambers to examine her famous tits. They were found to be soft and heavy. Koch ruled in favor of the club and Tawny for two reasons: The plaintiff took several months to see a doctor and a MRI scan showed no neck or back damage. Now a homemaker and mother of three, Tawny lives a quiet life in Michigan.
