Corpus Christi, Texas resident Colt 45 has a long history with the SCORE Group dating back to 1993, when she was starting out as a feature dancer and we began photographing her. She put on a fun, sexy stage show with lots of crowd participation. During the '90s and early '00s, I'd bump into Colt in clubs and a couple of times at the Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo. And let me tell you, when you bump into Colt 45, you really get bumped!
Colt was one of the calmest, most-relaxed, low-key women I've ever met. Nothing fazed her. She could pilot a boat in the middle of a hurricane while threading a needle and not lose her cool. While she danced and modeled for a living, she also bought, renovated and sold houses as a second vocation, and she really enjoyed it. That and fishing. Colt likes to fish. I never meet any models who like to fish. They, and their cats, like fish for dinner, but that's as far as that goes. Colt is the exception.
During the glory years of mega-bust stripping, now sadly over, Colt knew everyone who criss-crossed the United States on the strip circuit: Alyssa Alps, Europe DiChan, Traci Topps and many others. Colt also danced a few times with our former columnist Crystal Gunns.
"Colt 45 is crazy funny," wrote The Gunns in "The Gunns Show" (May '07 SCORE magazine). "She always talks about the old times on the road and how different everything is now. She loves her fans."
That column was about Colt, Crystal, Maxi Mounds and Kayla Kupcakes dancing together at the Boobapalooza event at the La Boheme Gentlemen's Cabaret in Denver.
"My first job was at Taco Bell when I was 13," Colt told us once upon a time. "I just love to work. I get bored if I don't do something. I guess I am old school. I need to do something, and I can't just fish all the time."
Colt was old-school in more ways than that. While she was fine with sticking toys in her pussy-hole on camera, she didn't go further.
"I love to work, but there are some things I won't do, like porn," she said. "I need to know somebody more than a couple of hours before I do it. I tell everybody I know, 'Ya gotta love me to do me.'"
